The CanberraVotes website will only be allowing individuals who are prepared to fully identify themselves in a public forum to leave comments on this site.
In order to verify your identity you are requested to provide details that match your current published residential White Pages listing.
Once the details are provided via the the form below you will be contacted by phone on your published White Pages number to verify your identity and confirm that you were the actual individual requesting registration. Once this verification process has been completed an account will be established and you will be emailed your “username” and “password” details - you will then be able to comment on the stories that have been posted.
Unfortunately at this point in time we regret that we do not have a method for easily registering individuals that do not have a public White Pages listing. Because of the nature of this site and legislative requirements under the ACT Electoral Act we are obliged to sight or confirm some form of identification that clearly associates your name with your residential address before registration can be processed.
